Rocket World Announcement

Rocket World is a space-themed virtual reality learning environment launched by the Immersive Education Initiative on the 40^th anniversary of the first moonwalk.  This unique environment allows teachers and students the opportunity to learn about science and technology in whole new way.  Instead of the traditional lecture/book-learning approach, students actually experience the subject matter first-hand in a virtual world.  The experience is further enhanced by allowing guest lecturers who would be otherwise unavailable (scientists, engineers, etc.) to join students in the virtual world from anywhere in the real world.  More detailed information can be found here: Rocket World Announcement
